Procurement of Signboards with Printing, Transportation and Installation for 34 Fruit Plant Nurseries in Districts Malakand, Lower Dir, Khyber, North Waziristan, South Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, Kurram and Orakzai of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa under USAID ERDA.

A not-for-profit corporation, Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF) was established in accordance with Section 42 of the now-repealed Companies Ordinance 1984 (now known as the Companies Act 2017). The company's overarching goal is to reduce poverty and promote economic growth in Pakistan by growing the country's agriculture industry.

In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its Merged Districts (MDs), Associates in Development (AiD) Pvt. Ltd., the prime recipient, and Agribusiness Support Fund (ASF), the subrecipient, are carrying out an Economic Recovery and Development Activity (ERDA) project supported by USAID. The goal of the project is to increase the number of economically viable, socially just, and climate-resilient small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and its merged districts (MDs) by modernizing and bolstering the agricultural industry.

Under USAID-ERDA, 34 of KP's and its NMDs' (Districts Khyber, Dir, Orakzai, South Waziristan, North Waziristan, Dera Ismail Khan, Malakand, Kurram) current fruit plant nurseries would be upgraded and fortified. As part of an in-kind contribution, USAID-ERDA is purchasing signboards with printing, shipping, and installation for the 34 eligible grantees under the grant "strengthening existing fruits plants nursery enterprises."
